Environmental Rhetoric: The Art of Persuasion in a Time of Crisis

A 3-credit course through University of Alaska based at Inian Islands Institute.
Climate Chaos. Habitat Loss. Mass Extinction. Overpopulation. Consumerism and Waste.
Confront the array of threats to the Earth (and those who would expedite them) with confidence, clarity, and the tools to inspire action. Environmental Rhetoric is essential for those willing to lend their voices to answer some of the fundamental questions of our time.
This week-long session is leadership boot camp for those who feel compelled to take these issues head-on, featuring lectures, student activities, wilderness exploration and much more in gorgeous Southeast Alaska, led by author-professor Dan Henry and Inian Islands Institute Director Zachary Brown.

• For only $400, you receive transportation, food, lodging, 3 college credits through UAS, and a medley of skills suited to saving the Earth.
